Job Details
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities.
- Interpret architectural drawings and technical plans accurately.
- Oversee site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to standards.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
- Support procurement and site documentation processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Qualification: HND in Building Technology, Architecture, Construction Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a construction supervisory or technical role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and architectural details.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Key Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in draughtsmanship and architectural drawing interpretation
- Ability to read, design, and revise construction drawings.
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods.
- Competence in construction software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving and site troubleshooting abilities.
Supervisory Skills:
- Ability to lead, coordinate, and supervise site workers.
- Strong communication and reporting abilities.
- Team management and workflow coordination.
- Ability to enforce safety standards and quality control.
